Ideally teams comprise of thirteen players – 11 playing + 2 reserves.
In Grade 13 the playing teams are 11 a side (including a goalkeeper), using a size 4 ball and on a full size pitch with full size goals. The Saturday game day includes a game of 2 x 30 minute halves.
In Grade 14/15 the playing teams are 11 a side (including a goalkeeper), using a size 5 ball and on a full size pitch with full size goals. Game day includes a game of 2 x 35 minute halves. Weekly draws will be posted on the Capital Football Website: Fixtures, prior to each game.
Games are usually scheduled for Saturdays, with a kick off time between 9am and 2pm, and Friday nights (under lights on artificial turf). Occasionally week-nights can be scheduled if there is a need to catch up on weather postponed matches.
You will be advised of the time, the grounds and which team you are playing against by your team manager.
Each team needs a coach and a manager. Each team also needs to have another person who can referee the weekly matches.
